Start and End of Classes

Starting Class...

Students line up according to rank and seniority, with the highest ranking member to the right front.

The Instructor, or the highest ranking student will call the commands:

    Charyut (attention)
Kuki Bay Ray (salute the flags)
    Baro ( return to attention)
Anjo Seyo (sit please) (not always, sometimes meditation may be in the standing position)
    Muk Yum (meditate)
    Baro ( return to attention)
E Ro So Seyo (stand please)
Sah Bim Nim E Kung Yet (bow to instructor)*

Dismissing Class...

Students will line up according to rank and seniority as in the beginning. The Instructor or highest ranking student will then call the commands.

The commands are the same as at the beginning of class (saluting the flag, meditation etc) with the following exceptions:

After bowing to the instructor everyone will say, "Kam Sam Ni Da" (thank you very much).
If there is another black belt present, everyone will turn to face him/her/them and bow. The most senior colored belt will call the commands.
The senior belt will then say hana, tul, set, Tang Soo! And at this point everyone will shout Tang Soo and raise their right fist.
